Chief Accounts Officer( IT)
Our Client is in the IT Industry currently recruiting a Chief Accounts Officer to collect, analyze, maintain and provide accurate data and information to support Management in making best business decisions, as well as bridge the gap between finance and sales operations
Chief Accountant Officer Job Responsibilities
· Managing the finances to ensure adequate liquidity, settlement of payables and other creditors.
· Leading the finance department in maintaining books of accounts.
· Financial planning and budgeting.
· Monitoring and reporting on the financial performance.
· Ensuring that external audits are conducted in good time.
· Protecting the assets of the company.
· Leading the finance department in embracing strategic change.
· Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory authorities.
· Recommending the lower price ceiling of products and/or services.
· Performing due diligence on current and potential investments.
· Processing the payroll
· Supervising recruitment, development, retention and organization of all Finance and administration department staff.
· Maintaining rapport with business partners.
· Overseeing the smooth running of activities in the office
· Overseeing overall business budgets including monitoring departmental meeting
· Developing, training, motivating and evaluating senior management staff to achieve highest levels of performance
· Identifying, implementing and benchmarking best practices in management
· Determining & coordinating Unit reporting and communication requirements
Qualifications for Chief Accounts Officer Jobs in Kenya
· CPA (K) ACCA Qualification.
· Degree in B.COMM (Accounting) or B. Admin (Accounting)
· Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, or demonstrable experience of working in management accounting or financial management
· MS Office Applications
· Exposure to accounting applications and ERPs
